Q: How did you come up with the name "The Bexar Bones?"
A: San Antonio is located in Bexar County, TX.  Since the common local pronunciation for Bexar is bare (or bear), The Bexar (bare) Bones was a logical choice as a name for the group.

Q: What kind of music do you play?
A: The Bexar Bones play popular music, jazz, classical - just about anything that sounds good on a trombone (which is just about everything).

Q: Are you always a quintet?
A: Most of the time, but not always.  Sometimes we'll add more trombones and/or a rhythm section to the group when the music calls for it.

 Q: Will you come play at my school?
A: Absolutely!  Each member of The Bexar Bones is an educator and we love to give master classes and educational demonstrations.  Have your band director get in touch with us for more details.

Q: Do you play weddings or private parties?
